How the Content Agent Works
Describe what you want to create, and the Content Agent handles research, writing, and audio production in minutes.
Your AI Co-Producer
The Content Agent is a conversational AI that turns your ideas into podcast episodes and podcast series. Describe what you want, and it handles the research, writing, and production.
Starting a Conversation
Select a content type from the Studio dashboard, type your prompt, and hit send. You can optionally attach sources — URLs, files, or YouTube links — to give the agent more context. The agent can also research topics on its own using web search, so sources are entirely optional.
Paste long text directly into the input and Jellypod will automatically convert it into a source.
What Can You Create?
The Content Agent can create podcast episodes and podcast series. See Supported Content Types for more details.
How the Agent Works
Research
For content like podcast episodes and podcast series, the agent can start by searching the web for current information and analyzing any sources you attached. You can toggle web search off in settings if you only want it to use your own sources.
Outline
The agent presents a structured outline before writing. Ask for changes before moving on — "make the intro shorter" or "add a section about X" — and it revises without starting over.
With Turbo Mode enabled (available in the settings menu for podcast episodes), the agent skips the outline review and all clarification questions. It still builds an outline internally, but moves straight from research to script and audio generation without pausing for approval. Turn it on when you know exactly what you want.
Script and Audio (Podcast Episodes)
For podcast episodes, the agent writes a full multi-host script and generates audio in one step. Dialogue is labeled by host and reflects each host's personality and backstory.
Podcast Series
For podcast series, the agent helps you plan a cohesive multi-episode concept and then generates each episode within that structure.
Credits are only consumed when you publish or download. Iterate on outlines, scripts, and audio as many times as you need before finalizing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the Content Agent without providing any sources?
Yes. The Content Agent can research topics on its own using web search. Sources give you more control over what your hosts discuss, but they are entirely optional.
How do I change what the agent produced?
Just tell it in the chat. Say things like 'make the intro shorter' or 'add a section about X' and the agent will revise without starting over.
