Yes. Because Jellypod hosts your RSS feed, plays from Spotify, Apple Podcasts, the web, and other apps are counted automatically. If you download the audio and host it elsewhere, you need your own tracking.
Is the data real-time?
Not to the second. Plays appear once they are recorded and processed, so the newest listens can take a while to show up.
Is listener data private?
Listens are measured through privacy-friendly redirects on the open-source OP3 platform.
