Distributing to Spotify
Submit your RSS feed to Spotify once, and every episode you publish automatically appears on the platform.
Before You Start#
Distribution to Spotify requires an active paid subscription. If you are on a free plan, clicking the Spotify badge will prompt you to upgrade.
You also need a Spotify account. If you do not have one, create one at spotify.com.
Step-by-Step Setup#
- Navigate to your podcast page in the studio.
- Click the Spotify badge in the row of distribution badges below your podcast header.
- The Distribute on Spotify dialog opens with a centered title and description: "This one-time setup integrates your show with Spotify. New published episodes will automatically appear on your podcast."
- Follow the numbered steps in the dialog:
Step 1#
Go to Spotify for Podcasters and sign into your Spotify account.
Step 2#
If you do not see a place to submit your RSS feed, click on the upper-right icon and click "Add a new show."
Step 3#
Click "Find an existing show."
Step 4#
Copy and paste your RSS feed URL into the field. The dialog displays your RSS URL in a rounded input with a copy button.
Step 5#
Review your podcast information and submit for approval.
Step 6#
Jellypod will forward you an email from Spotify to verify your ownership of the podcast.
For your privacy, Jellypod uses a forwarding email address in your RSS feed. Your actual email is never shared with Spotify.
After Submission#
Approval may take a few hours. Once verified, every episode you publish on Jellypod will automatically appear on Spotify with no additional steps.
This is a one-time setup. You do not need to repeat it for future episodes.
Frequently Asked Questions#
