Scheduling Episodes
Set a future publish date and time so your episode goes live automatically.
Scheduling is a premium feature that lets you batch content in advance and schedule episode releases without having to be online when it goes live.
How to Schedule an Episode#
- Open your episode in the editor and click
Publish Episodein the toolbar. - In the publish dialog, select
Schedule for Later. - Pick a future date and time. Past dates cannot be selected.
- (Optional) Check to automatically download video after scheduling completes.
- Click
Schedule Episodeto confirm.
The episode will appear in your episodes list with a scheduled status. At the scheduled time, Jellypod automatically publishes it, your RSS feed and podcast website are updated, connected platforms pick it up, and you'll receive an email confirming the episode is live.
Cancelling a Scheduled Episode#
Open the episode's dropdown menu and click Cancel Schedule. The episode reverts to a draft with no content lost and can be rescheduled or published at any time.
Schedule a week of episodes in advance to maintain a consistent release cadence. Consistency is one of the best ways to grow your audience.
Frequently Asked Questions#
Is episode scheduling available on the free plan?
No. Scheduling is a premium feature available on paid plans. Free plan users can only publish episodes immediately.
Can I cancel a scheduled episode?
Yes. Open the episode's dropdown menu and click Cancel Schedule. The episode reverts to a draft with no content lost, and you can reschedule or publish it at any time.
