Editing Episode Details
Update an episode's title, description, and cover art from the episode workspace.
How to Edit Episode Details#
- Open the episode in the studio. If it is a draft, navigate to the episode's artifact page. If it is published, click Edit Episode from the episode dropdown or the podcast's episode list.
- The Info tab in the episode panel displays the editable episode details.
Editing the Title#
Click the title field at the top of the info panel. The title is an inline text input. Type your changes directly. Updates save automatically.
Editing the Description#
Below the title, the description is a rich text editor that supports bold, italics, and other formatting. Click into the editor and make your changes. The placeholder text reads "Add a brief description of your episode..." Updates save automatically.
Changing Cover Art#
Click the cover art thumbnail in the top-left corner of the info panel to upload or generate new cover art. If no episode-specific cover art is set, the podcast's cover art is used as a fallback on the episode page.
Auto-Save Behavior#
All changes to episode title, description, and cover art save immediately as you type or upload. There is no separate save button. Edits are applied in real time.
The episode's podcast name and cover art are shown above the title for reference, but these are read-only. To change the podcast-level details, use Edit Podcast from the podcast details page.
Frequently Asked Questions#
Do I need to click a save button after editing episode details?
No. All changes to episode title, description, and cover art save automatically in real time as you type or upload. There is no separate save button.
Can each episode have its own cover art?
Yes. Click the cover art thumbnail in the episode info panel to upload episode-specific cover art. If you don't set one, the podcast's cover art is used as a fallback.
