Regenerating Individual Segments
Fix a single line without regenerating your entire episode.
How to Regenerate a Segment#
- Hover over a speech block in the script editor. The Regenerate Audio button appears on the right side.
- Click Regenerate Audio.
- A toast notification shows Generating audio... while processing.
- When complete, the toast updates to Audio generated successfully and the segment is replaced on the timeline.
The rest of your episode audio is untouched.
Out-of-Sync Detection#
When you edit the text, host, or speaking speed on a block that already has audio, Jellypod flags it automatically:
- The block text dims to 60% opacity.
- The Regenerate Audio button switches to a warning style and stays visible without hovering.
This tells you exactly which blocks need regeneration before you publish or download.
You can regenerate multiple blocks simultaneously. Each runs independently, so you don't need to wait for one to finish before starting another.
Requirements and Credits#
The Regenerate Audio button only appears when the episode already has generated audio and a host is assigned to the block. Regenerating individual segments is free — credits are only consumed when you publish or download the final episode.
Frequently Asked Questions#
Will regenerating one segment affect the rest of my episode?
No. Only the specific speech block you regenerate is updated. All other audio segments remain untouched on the timeline.
