Magic Video Slides
Magic Video generates AI-powered visual slides that match your episode content, with nine slide types and full editing control.
How Magic Video Works#
When you select the Magic Video template, Jellypod's AI analyzes your episode script and automatically generates a set of visual slides. Each slide is matched to a section of your audio and uses the most appropriate slide type for that content.
Once slides are generated, a slide toolbar appears below the orientation bar with three controls: Regenerate Slides, Add Slide, and Edit Slide.
The Nine Slide Types#
Title Slide#
A bold headline card. Used for episode titles, section headers, or key topic introductions.
Bullet Slide#
A headline with a list of bullet points. Ideal for summarizing key takeaways or listing features.
Image Slide#
A full image with an optional caption. Used when visual context enhances the content.
Split Image Slide#
An image on one side with a headline and bullet points on the other. Combines visual and text content in a single slide.
Quote Slide#
A styled quote with an optional author attribution. Used for notable quotes or memorable statements.
Stat Slide#
A large number or statistic with a descriptive label. Draws attention to impressive data points.
Timeline Slide#
A headline with a series of labeled milestones. Used for chronological events, step-by-step processes, or project roadmaps.
Comparison Slide#
Two columns with headings and bullet points. Used for side-by-side comparisons of options, approaches, or features.
Icon Grid Slide#
A grid of items, each with an emoji icon, heading, and description. Used for categorized features, benefits, or concepts.
Managing Slides#
Regenerate Slides#
Click Regenerate Slides (sparkle icon) to have the AI create a completely fresh set of slides based on your script. A confirmation dialog will appear because this replaces all existing slides, including any manual edits.
Add Slide#
Click Add Slide to insert a new slide at the current playback position. A dropdown appears with all nine slide types:
- Title Slide
- Bullet Slide
- Image Slide
- Split Image Slide
- Quote Slide
- Stat Slide
- Timeline Slide
- Comparison Slide
- Icon Grid Slide
The new slide is inserted after the current slide and subsequent slides shift forward automatically.
Edit Slide#
Click the Edit Slide button to open a dialog where you can modify the content of the currently selected slide. Changes are applied live in the preview.
The slide toolbar only appears when you have the Magic Video template selected and slides have been generated. If you do not see it, make sure Magic Video is your active template and that your episode has generated audio.
Frequently Asked Questions#
Can I manually edit the AI-generated slides?
Yes. Click the Edit Slide button to modify the content of any slide. You can also add new slides or regenerate all slides from scratch.
Do Magic Video slides work in all aspect ratios?
Yes. Magic Video slides automatically reflow to fit the selected aspect ratio: landscape, portrait, or square.
