Zapier and Jellypod

Zapier connects thousands of apps with no code. Wire in Jellypod through the MCP Client by Zapier and an event in another tool (a new sheet row, a fresh newsletter, a form submission) starts a podcast episode automatically.

Zapier authenticates with a Jellypod API key sent as a bearer token, because it cannot complete the interactive OAuth flow. Create one in the studio under Developers, then API Keys (Creator plan or higher).

What you can do with Zapier

  • Trigger from any app

    Start an episode from a new spreadsheet row, a form submission, a CRM update, or any of the thousands of triggers Zapier supports.

  • Newsletter to podcast

    Send each new newsletter or blog post to Jellypod and get a draft episode back, ready for review.

  • Review, then publish

    Episodes arrive as drafts. When one is ready, ask the assistant to publish or schedule it. Nothing goes live until you ask.

Zapier integration FAQ

Why does Zapier need an API key instead of OAuth?
Automation platforms cannot complete the interactive OAuth sign-in, so they send a Jellypod API key as a bearer token instead. Create one under Developers, then API Keys.
Do I need a paid plan?
API keys require the Creator plan or higher. The connector itself is free; bearer-token clients like Zapier need the key.
