Four products share one studio, one cast of characters, and one publishing pipeline.
Describe an episode or attach a PDF, URL, or YouTube video. The Podcast Agent researches it, writes a multi-host script, and generates the audio. Edit any line afterward and regenerate its audio for free.
Turn a PDF, slide deck, URL, or prompt into a narrated, illustrated video of 3 to 25 minutes, in one of 16 visual styles. Captions sync word by word, and you can regenerate one scene while the rest stays as it is.
Make a vertical 30-second or 1-minute short from a prompt, file, or script, with animated visuals, word-synced captions, and an original score. Ready for TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
Bring the PDFs, slides, or images you already have. Jellypod keeps each page on screen and times new narration to it, so a training deck becomes a narrated video without a rebuild.
Give a character a name, backstory, personality, and voice, then cast it in any format. Pick from 3,300+ library voices, each tuned to one language and accent across 121 languages, design one from a description, or clone your own voice, which speaks every supported language.
Every show gets a podcast website with five templates and an RSS feed for Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, with no separate host to pay for. One dashboard shows plays over time, top countries, and the apps people listen in.
Write the prompt once and pick a schedule or an inbound email address. Jellypod produces each new episode, video, or short, so a recurring show keeps publishing without a weekly production session.
The REST API and OpenAPI spec let developers create podcasts, videos, shorts, and voiceovers from their own code (Creator plan and above). The MCP server lets an AI assistant start a generation and return the finished media in a chat.
Jellypod handles the undifferentiated heavy lifting of making high-quality content, so you go from 0% to 90% very quickly. The studio gives you the tools to add your own touch, and Jellypod uses AI to amplify your voice.
Every line of the script is editable. Rewrite a line, reassign a host, or reorder the conversation, then regenerate only what you changed.
Add intro, outro, and background music on a timeline, so the episode sounds like your show.
Save your colors and logos once and apply them to your podcast website, videos, and shorts, so everything you publish looks like one brand.
Create characters with their own names, backstories, and voices, or clone your own voice, and cast them across every format.
Drawn from our published comparisons, which also say when a competitor is the better choice.
A Jellypod character keeps its name, backstory, and voice across podcasts, videos, shorts, and voiceovers, and up to four can share one episode. NotebookLM gives you two preset hosts you cannot name or reuse, and ElevenLabs GenFM hosts are not personas you carry across a series.
Paid plans start at $25/mo billed annually and include a podcast website, an RSS feed, one-click publishing to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, and listener analytics. NotebookLM, Speechify, and NoteGPT produce audio you download or play in their app, so no listener can subscribe to it.
Jellypod writes a full script you can edit line by line: rewrite a line, reassign a host, or reorder the conversation, then regenerate only the lines you changed, for free. NotebookLM Audio Overviews are final output that you can only nudge with a prompt.
Videos run up to 25 minutes in 16 art-directed styles, with nobody on screen and one visual style held from the first scene to the last. HeyGen fits better when a presenter should appear on camera, and NotebookLM Video Overviews run a few minutes with a script you cannot edit.
Jellypod starts from a topic, article, PDF, or URL, so there is nothing to record or clean up. Descript, Riverside, and Async (formerly Podcastle) are the better choice when you already have a recording or remote guests, because Jellypod does not record live audio.
More than 100K creators use Jellypod. Most fall into these groups.
Teachers and faculty. Lectures, readings, and slides become short episodes students finish. Faculty at Ohio State and KU Leuven use it, and the Educator plan is free for six months.
L&D and training teams. Onboarding and training sessions become podcasts and narrated slide videos the team can replay (L&D use case).
Marketers and small businesses. Blog posts, FAQs, and product knowledge become a branded show. Kaishan USA reached the top 10 in industry search with podcasts (small business use case).
Healthcare and medical communicators. Turn patient education and research papers into episodes. Blue Mountain Psychiatry grew its channel 6x with weekly podcasts (health use case).
Churches and faith leaders. Sunday sermons become episodes and devotionals members hear during the week (faith use case).
Independent creators and niche publishers. The Peach Basket runs an automated basketball podcast, and Reptilium reaches 16,500 monthly listeners.
Local governments and nonprofits. The City of Chattahoochee Hills uses local podcasts to connect residents, and the Covation Center gives microbusinesses a voice-cloned show.
Enterprise teams. Teams that need SSO, SCIM provisioning, centralized billing, and custom contracts use Jellypod Enterprise.
Developers and AI agent builders. Developers and AI agents create content through the API and MCP server.
Jellypod, Inc. began as a consumer podcast app and grew into a platform for anyone who publishes to an audience.
Co-founder and CEO
Pierson started Jellypod to make the podcasts he wanted to hear but could not find. He leads the company as CEO. Articles by Pierson
Pierson loved podcasts but found few shows on the topics he cared about, because making one takes research, scripting, recording, editing, and publishing. The first Jellypod app, released in 2023, turned the news a listener followed into a personal podcast.
The team rebuilt it as a studio where the creator directs and AI does the production work. Early customers came from news publications, healthcare companies, agencies, universities, and city governments, in the U.S., Canada, the UK, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Romania, and Turkey.
