What is an AI voiceover for training videos?

An AI voiceover for training videos turns your script, slides, or SOP into narration you can edit and re-record in minutes.

It is one path inside Jellypod voiceovers. If you want a presenter on screen instead, read the Synthesia alternative comparison.

Why L&D teams use it

L&D teams use it to update a lesson without re-booking talent, to keep one voice across modules, and to add a custom voice they have rights to use.

When a step changes, you edit that line and regenerate it. You do not schedule another session.

How to make one in Jellypod

Upload slides with speaker notes, edit the script, pick or clone a voice, and export a 16:9 video.

Speaker notes in voiceovers explains how PPTX notes are used. The voiceovers help covers export.

  1. Step 01

    Upload slides or an SOP

PPTX speaker notes are context for each slide, not a script Jellypod reads word for word. PDF pages stay in order.
  2. Step 02

    Edit the script

Fix a step, then regenerate that block. Pages stay on screen.
  3. Step 03

    Pick or clone a voice

Pick a Jellypod voice, or clone one you have rights to use (at least 30 seconds of audio).
  4. Step 04

    Export a 16:9 video

Download a landscape MP4, share a public link, or embed a player that starts at 640 by 360.

Training voiceover vs hiring voice talent

Hire voice talent when you need a directed performance or a read that has to match a brand voice actor you already use.

Use an AI voiceover when the script will change and you want the same voice next month without booking another session. You still review every line before anyone watches it.

Questions and answers

What can I export?
A landscape MP4. You can also share a public link or embed a player that starts at 640 by 360. File types and page limits are in the voiceovers help.
Can I use my own voice?
Yes. Clone a voice you have the rights to use. The voice cloning help doc asks you to confirm those rights and to provide at least 30 seconds of audio, with 60 seconds recommended.
Can I export SCORM for an LMS?
Yes, on Business and Enterprise. Voiceovers export as video in SCORM 1.2 and 2004 4th Edition. There are no quizzes inside the package. See SCORM exports.
