Customize Podcast Episode Length

No more guessing how long your episode will be.

When creating a new episode, you can now choose from short, medium, or long presets that set a target duration for your script. The agent calibrates chapter count and word budget so the final audio lands where you want it.

Short episodes will be around ~5-7 minutes, medium (the default) will be around 8-12 minutes, and long will approach 20 minutes. You can set the duration by clicking on the Settings Gear icon when creating a new episode.

For what length actually fits your show, see how long should a podcast be.

Transfer Episodes Between Podcasts

You can now transfer an episode from one podcast to another.

Sometimes you start an episode in one podcast series and realize it belongs somewhere else. Maybe you drafted it under the default "My First Podcast" and need to move it to your main show, or you're reorganizing your content across multiple podcasts. Now you can transfer episodes without recreating anything from scratch.

To transfer an episode to a new podcast, go to its current podcast, click on the episode menu (⋯), select "Transfer Episode," and choose the destination podcast. Your episode moves instantly with all its content, sources, and settings intact.

Intelligent Web Search

Jellypod will now intelligently decide if it should search the internet for up-to-date information to enhance your podcast.

Formerly known as Deep Search, Web Search is now turned on by default for all new episodes. To prevent the agent from searching the web to enhance it’s outputs, you can toggle it off under the Settings Gear icon when creating a new podcast episode.

Iterate to Perfection Without Consuming Credits

You can now generate podcast episodes without watching your credit balance.

Starting today, Jellypod credits are only consumed when you publish or download your podcast episode. Generating drafts or regenerating sections no longer consume credits, enabling you to focus on creating the perfect piece of content rather than worrying about how much it will cost.

Tweak your scripts, test different voices, and iterate as much as you like. When you’re happy with the final result, publish or download your episode and we’ll calculate credit usage purely on the final output length.

Your existing credit balance carries over unchanged, so you can start experimenting right away.

Introducing the Jellypod Content Agent

Jellypod is now built around a familiar AI agent chat flow.

Describe what you want to create and the Jellypod Agent takes it from there - researching your topic, writing the script, generating audio, and suggesting next steps along the way.

You can ask Jellypod to rewrite sections, change the video template or orientation, and publish the podcast episode when you're ready. No more clicking through buttons and pages to get things done.

The experience is magical. Tell Jellypod what you need, review the output, and iterate with Jellypod as your co-creator until perfection.

A New Look for Magic Video Slides

Magic Video slides just got a major upgrade! We've added five new slide templates, improved how the AI picks them, and polished the overall look and feel.

Slides now come in nine styles, up from four. Here's what's new:

  1. Stat: Highlights a key number or metric in large, bold text.
  2. Timeline: Shows a sequence of events or milestones in order.
  3. Comparison: Places two sides of a topic next to each other, great for pros and cons, or before and after.
  4. Icon Grid: Displays a set of features or ideas with icons, headings, and short descriptions.
  5. Split Image: Combines an AI-generated image with text, side by side. These join the existing title, bullet, quote, and image templates.

Better variety across your video

The AI now picks slides with the full episode in mind, not just one section at a time. That means more variety and fewer repetitive slides.

Every slide has been visually refreshed with cleaner layouts and better text sizing. Slides now animate in smoothly, with each element appearing one after another for a more polished feel.

Pronunciation Preview

You can now preview how a pronunciation sounds with any of your AI hosts.

Each entry in your pronunciation guide now has a speaker icon that generates example audio using your specific pronunciation. Click the button to see a dropdown with all your hosts, pick one to generate the preview, and you'll hear that host's voice pronounce the phonetic spelling instantly.

Each host may pronounce things slightly differently, so if you have multiple hosts with different voices, you can quickly switch between them to compare how each one handles the word.

Now you can test and refine pronunciations in a few seconds before ever touching your script or consuming credits.

Analytics now include website video plays

Your analytics dashboard now includes video plays from your Jellypod-hosted podcast website, giving you a more complete picture of how your episodes are performing.

When someone watches an episode on your website, that activity now shows up in your plays-over-time chart, episode table, and platform breakdowns. Jellypod also appears as its own entry in the Top Apps section alongside Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and the other platforms your audience uses.

The same rolling window filters you already use (1, 7, 30, and 90 days) apply across both audio and video plays, so everything stays consistent as you explore your data.

Previously, website video plays weren't reflected in the dashboard. If someone watched on your site instead of listening through a podcast app, you had no way to see that. Now your analytics cover both.

Episode Ready Notifications

You now receive an email notification when your new episode finishes publishing and is live and playable.

Additionally, you’ll also receive an email for scheduled emails, confirming schedule creation and an additional email when your new podcast goes live.

The email includes quick actions for viewing the published episode, creating a social clip, and sharing on social media.

Previously, you had to keep checking back in Jellypod to see if your episode was ready. Now you can close the tab and get on with other work, knowing you will be notified the moment your episode is live and ready to share.

Email Preference Center

You can now choose exactly which emails you receive from Jellypod instead of unsubscribing from everything at once.

The new notification preference center lets you toggle individual email categories—product updates, tips, and more—so you stay in the loop on what matters to you and skip the rest.

You can view your email notification settings here: https://studio.jellypod.com/settings/notifications

You'll also find a link to manage your preferences at the bottom of any Jellypod email.
