Overview

Claude Motion makes one short animation from work you already have in Claude. Anthropic's article describes a quarterly-report explainer, a moving chart, and a product walkthrough. Claude writes the animation as code. The @claudeai launch post says you can change any word, number, or timing, then export an MP4. Anthropic says Motion uses no video generation model, so there is no generated footage and no AI-generated people.

Jellypod makes episodic podcasts, illustrated explainers, Shorts, and microdramas. It is not a Claude Motion export partner. You can still start from Claude through the MCP connector.

Which to use when

Use Claude Motion when the brief already lives in Claude and you need one clip for a meeting, a deck, or an onboarding flow. It is in beta on Claude Team and Enterprise. On Enterprise it is off until an admin turns it on under Organization settings, Artifacts.

Use Jellypod when you are making a show: podcast episodes, illustrated explainers, vertical Shorts, or a microdrama where the same characters come back. A 7-day free trial does not require a Claude Team or Enterprise plan.

You stay in control

Edit any line, then regenerate only that line in the script editor.

Fix a pronunciation once, or mark a pause or a whisper, and the rest of the episode stays put.

Clone a voice or cast a character, pick a visual style, then publish the podcast yourself.
