Jellypod's mission has always been to simplify the process of creating your first AI-powered podcast. However, we learned that many of you use your initial episodes to experiment and get a feel for AI podcast creation. This often led to quickly maxing out the free tier, leaving little room to fully explore your creativity.

In response to your feedback, we’re excited to announce a shift from an episode-based model to a credit-based system. With this update, you can draft as many podcasts and episodes as you like—no caps, no restrictions.

Credits are only used when generating audio, giving you the freedom to experiment and create without worrying about limits. This new model ensures you have the flexibility to bring your podcasting vision to life on your own terms

What's Changing?

All users (including free) can create unlimited podcasts and episodes. This includes episode outlines and scripts.

Credits are only used when generating audio. Each minute of audio generated consumes 60 credits.

You can regenerate audio as many times as you want; narration is charged once, when it is first generated, and regenerating it is free.

What's next?

We are building out optimizations to reduce the number of credits used when generating audio, such as selective regeneration. We'll also be adding more features to help you manage your credits, such as credit usage history.

Every show needs a valid RSS feed to be distributed on these platforms. Typically, creators need to use a podcast hosting provider to generate and maintain their RSS feeds. However, with Jellypod, this is all handled automatically.

How to clone a voice in Jellypod

1. Record or upload 2 to 3 minutes of clean speech. A quiet room and a decent mic beat a long, noisy file.
2. Keep the delivery consistent. The sample is a teaching tape for an impression of you, not a highlight reel.
3. Review the inferred details, then accept the clone. Jellypod will not send audio to a voice provider without that acceptance. See how consent works.
4. Assign the clone to a host and generate from an editable script.

You can put the clone next to an AI co-host, or run the episode as a solo. Guests upload their own samples through voice clone invites so you never upload someone else's voice on their behalf.

When a clone is the wrong tool

Skip cloning if you only need a stock host. The voice library covers dozens of accents, and YouTube's AI disclosure policy treats stock voices and your own clone differently from cloning someone else.
