Pierson Marks
Pierson MarksFounder & CEO, Jellypod

Add custom transitions between any two shots in Video, Shorts, or Voiceovers. Pick from 7 unique styles: Fade, Push cut, Slide, Wipe, Flip, Clock wipe, or Iris.

Two overlapping video frames connected by a right-pointing transition arrow.

You can preview transitions in the editor adding one does not shift your narration, visual timing, or total Video duration.

How to use it

  1. Open a Video, Short, or Voiceover and expand the timeline.
  2. Click the + between two visual cards.
  3. Choose a transition style and adjust its duration.
  4. Play across the cut to preview it, then render when it feels right.

Once added, the + becomes a transition icon you can click to change the style, edit the duration, or remove the transition. The transition stays with the incoming visual if you reorder your shots.

See Edit Narration and Visuals for the complete Video editing workflow.
