Fetch Real-time Info with Web Search

by Jason Alafgani· ·

Podcasting thrives on good storytelling, topic discovery, and knowledge sharing. And, oftentimes, the most interesting information is timely, and requires up-to-date, live context for the content to be valubale.

However, AI faces a critical limitation: it relies on data in their training, constrained by the cutoff dates and static resources. This is why Jellypod encourages users to upload sources (PDFs, websites, etc.) to ground your podcast in content that may not be perfectly represented in the model.

So, to help accelerate this type of live, content aggregation, we're excited to announce Web Search, a new feature in Jellypod designed specifically to pull in current information from the internet as a podcast source.

Why Websearch?

Imagine you're covering your favorite sports team, and a crucial game has just ended: your podcast wouldn't have access to the latest score or highlights. Until now, getting timely, real-world information into your episodes required manually finding and uploading specific sources.

WebSearch Transforms Podcast Creation

By enabling Web Search, you can simply type a natural-language query during the podcast creation process. Jellypod then searches the internet and fetches the most relevant, real-time information (with citations), adding it as a source to your episode.

Then, you can review the content and it's sources, ensuring the content is accurate.

This means:

  • Real-Time Accuracy: Immediately access live updates, such as breaking news, sport scores, or rapidly changing market trends.
  • Dynamic Content Creation: Effortlessly bring fresh perspectives and current insights into every episode, enhancing your podcast's relevance.
  • Full Control and Confidence: Review the sourced information and citations before publishing, ensuring every episode remains credible, accurate, and authoritative.

Web Search lets you create more informed, engaging content without doing research outside of Jellypod's studio, so you can put a well-sourced episode together quickly and confidently.

Starting today, all users can experience the power of real-time information integrated directly into your podcasting workflow. Try Web Search in Jellypod today and redefine what's possible with your AI-powered podcast.
