Video visual styles for Magic Video and Shorts
Browse the visual styles for Magic Video and Shorts, the default style, brand compatibility, and why styles cannot be customized. Voiceovers do not use styles.
A visual style sets how a Magic Video or a short looks. You pick one in the composer before you generate. To decide between Products first, see Choose a Video Product. Voiceovers do not use visual styles: they keep the documents and images you supply.
Choose a style
Pick a card in the style rail below the prompt (use the arrow buttons to scroll it). Hover a card to see its short description.
- Jellypod chooses the art direction (palette, composition, treatment) from your topic and tone, so you cannot customize a style further or write image prompts.
- A style cannot be changed after generation starts. Create a new Magic Video or short to try another.
- The composer starts on Whiteboard Explainer until you generate something. After that it starts on whichever style you used last, on Home, Shorts, or Videos alike. See Starting values.
Style catalog
The Brand kit column is the style's compatibility with a brand kit: Full uses the whole palette, Accent uses only the accent color, and None keeps the style's own colors.

Styles that draw their visuals
Whiteboard Explainer, Blueprint, Chalkboard, Crayon, and Sketch draw each visual on their own canvas. In the video editor, those visuals have no Reframe option and no zoom effect control.
