Manage and share Magic Videos, Shorts and Voiceovers

Everything here applies to all three video Products. To pick one, see Choosing a video product; the Products have their own hubs: Magic Video, Shorts and Voiceovers.

Voiceovers are not listed in Videos. They can still appear under Recent creations.

Libraries and card actions

Each library is a grid sorted by most recently updated, 10 items per page. Use Previous and Next below the grid to page through the rest. There is no search box or style filter.

A card shows a status label until the item is ready:

• Generating: narration and visuals are being produced, or a background job such as a visual regeneration is still running.
• Preparing: the script, visuals and music are done and a render is in progress.
• Regenerating audio...: narration is being regenerated in the background. The card opens in the meantime.
• Needs visuals: the visuals did not finish and the draft is saved, with narration kept. Click Retry generation to finish the visuals.
• Needs attention: generation failed and can be retried. Click Retry generation: it continues from where generation stopped.
• Cannot be finished: another attempt would fail the same way, so there is no retry button. The card says what to change. If it does not, open Help & Support in the Studio sidebar to chat with the team, or email support@jellypod.com.

Some failed cards also show a button for the fix, such as Add credits or Review sources. See When a Video, Short, or Voiceover Fails for what each failure means and what it costs.

A card opens in the editor once there is something to edit. While a generation is still running, or if it failed before anything was built, the card does not open and Edit is disabled. Magic Videos run longer than Shorts, so expect more paragraphs and shots to review. To change narration, visuals, music or captions, see Edit narration and visuals.

Every card has a Download button and a ••• menu:

• Download renders your latest edits and downloads them without opening the editor. The button reads Preparing..., Regenerating audio... or Rendering..., then Downloading.... If the saved render already matches your edits, it downloads that file directly. If a render is already running, Download waits for it. It stays disabled while generation or regeneration prevents a render from starting, and explains what is missing if narration or visuals still need attention.
• Download saved version (in the ••• menu, and in the ▾ next to Download in the editor) downloads the render you already have without waiting on unfinished edits. It appears only when a saved render exists and Download would not simply deliver it.
• Edit opens the editor.
• Rename changes the title, up to 120 characters.
• Delete permanently removes the item, its renders and its AI-generated media, at any stage. This cannot be undone.

There is no full regeneration for a finished item, and no delete inside the editor. For a wholly different result, delete it from the library and create a new one, which is charged in full.

Share, render and download

In the editor, Share on an item with no shareable render starts a render, then opens the dialog when it finishes. Once a shareable render exists, Share opens the dialog straight away with the public share link and embed code, plus a Re-render Latest Version button (or Retry Render after a failed render). Re-rendering updates the same link and embed.

Download in the editor works as it does on the card.

If the saved audio does not match your latest narration or Voice choices, rendering or downloading first asks which audio to use. See Choose which audio to render.

Right after a render finishes, the file can take a few minutes to package. Downloading in that window shows a Still preparing notice: try again shortly. If a render fails or takes too long, Download shows an error toast, and clicking it again starts a new render.

Rendering and re-rendering are free. Credits are charged when narration or visuals are generated (see Understanding credits).

The public share page

The share page shows a "Made with Jellypod" mark. Viewers can tap to pause and resume, toggle sound and drag the scrubber.

Embed a video

Open Share and copy the embed code below the share link. It is an iframe sized to the item's orientation: 640x360 Landscape, 360x640 Portrait, 480x480 Square. Those are starting widths: the frame keeps its aspect ratio, so change the width in the snippet to fit your layout. Paste it into any platform that accepts HTML iframes. The player keeps its native controls and supports fullscreen and picture-in-picture.

Orientation is fixed when generation starts: create a new item to change it.
