Overview

Every episode can be rendered as a video as well as an audio file. Choose one of five fixed Classic Templates, from a simple waveform audiogram to a captions-forward look, then pick an aspect ratio for the platform you're targeting. Episodes that already had AI-generated Magic Video visuals before podcasts moved to Classic Templates only keep them; see Magic Video Visuals. For new AI-generated video, create a standalone Video or Short instead.

Shorts and Videos are separate, standalone kinds of content, generated from a prompt or source rather than tied to a podcast episode: choose your orientation (Portrait, Landscape, or Square), complete with AI narration, animated visuals in your choice of style, and an original instrumental score (on by default, optional). A Short defaults to a quick, vertical format (30 seconds to 1 minute) suited to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts; a Video defaults to a longer, usually landscape format (5 to 20 minutes). They share the same creation surface and editable workspace, just saved to separate libraries.
