Manage episodes: find, duplicate, move and delete

Every episode belongs to one podcast, and you manage them from the episodes table on that podcast's page (see Podcasts and Episodes for the rest of this section). The table shows each episode's title, status, plays, duration and date. Episode statuses explains what each status means.

Find and sort episodes

• Search: the search box filters by title and description.
• Sort: click the Episodes (title), Status or Date header to sort ascending, click again for descending, and click a third time to return to the default order. Plays and Duration cannot be sorted.
• Default order: by date, oldest first for Serial podcasts and newest first for Episodic ones.

A generating episode shows live progress and its row does not open the editor. A failed episode opens a retry dialog when you click it, see Episode generation failed.

Duplicate an episode

Open the row's three-dot menu and choose Duplicate Episode. The copy is a new Draft titled "(Copy)" followed by the original title. You can duplicate an episode in any status, including published.

• Copied: description, script, hosts, sources, cover art (as a separate image file) and video template.
• Not copied: generated audio, timeline, and publish status, date or schedule. Generate audio again for the copy.

Uploaded episodes cannot be duplicated, and their menu has no Duplicate Episode option. During the free trial, a duplicate counts toward the trial episode limit.

Move an episode to another podcast

1. Open the episode's three-dot menu (on the podcast page or the episode page) and choose Transfer Episode.
2. In the dialog, choose the destination Podcast.
3. Click Transfer Episode.

The move is immediate and only changes which podcast the episode belongs to. The destination must be another podcast in your organization. If you have none, the dialog reads "No other podcasts available to transfer to."

Delete an episode

1. Open the episode's three-dot menu and choose Delete Episode.
2. Confirm in the dialog.

Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone. Any generation still running for the episode is stopped. To take an episode off your feed and website but keep its content, unpublish it instead.
