Asset Library: find, reuse and delete your sources
Open the Asset Library to see every saved source, upload files without starting an episode, download originals, and delete sources.
The Asset Library lists every source saved in your organization, so you can reuse a file or URL instead of adding it again. See What Are Sources? for what sources are used for. Menus and dialogs label each source an "asset."
Open it from the avatar menu in the Studio sidebar and choose Asset Library.
What the list shows
Each row has the source name with its processing status, its Type, Used In, and Created. Used In counts the podcasts, hosts, episodes and videos that use the source, or shows "Not used". Sort by Type, Used In or Created. The list shows 10 rows per page.
Upload without starting an episode
Click New Asset to add files or links directly to the library. See Supported Source Types for what you can add and the file limits.
Download a source
Open the row menu (the three dots):
- Download Extracted Text appears once Jellypod has extracted text from the source.
- Download Original appears for uploaded files only, not URL or YouTube sources.
Delete a source
Choose Delete Asset from the row menu, then confirm Delete in the "Delete asset?" dialog. Deletion is permanent. Jellypod also deletes the stored files for that source, and the source is removed from every podcast, host and other piece of content linked to it. Content you already generated is not deleted.
Removing a source from one piece of content only unlinks it and leaves it in the library. See Managing Sources for removing sources from content.
Pick library sources for new content
When you add sources to new content or in the Podcast Agent chat, the Add Sources dialog lets you search the library (Search assets...), select sources, and click Add Selected Sources. Sources already attached to the current content stay in the list, greyed out and marked Already added.
