Perplexity is an answer engine built around cited, up-to-date research. That pairs naturally with Jellypod: let Perplexity assemble the facts on a topic, then have it create a podcast episode grounded in that same research.
Perplexity connects to the hosted server URL with OAuth. You sign in through Jellypod and approve the custom connector once, then it works on your account.
What you can do with Perplexity
Turn research into audio
Hand the assistant a URL, a YouTube link, or pasted notes and it adds them as sources, then generates a grounded, conversational episode.
Produce episodes in a chat
Describe the show you want, drop in sources, and the assistant creates podcasts, generates episodes, and lines them up as drafts for review.
Keep a topic fresh
Use Perplexity's current research to spin up a recurring news or briefing episode, grounded in what is happening right now.
Connect Perplexity
Sign in with OAuth, then your assistant works directly in your account. The Perplexity setup guide in the docs walks through every step, and stays current as the connection evolves.
