Spotify integration for Jellypod

Submit your Podcast’s RSS feed to Spotify once, and every Episode you publish in Jellypod reaches Spotify on its own. There is no file to download and nothing to submit again for each Episode.

Spotify confirms you own the show by email. Jellypod forwards that email to you, so your real address stays out of the feed.

Getting started

You need a Spotify account, a Public Podcast with at least one published Episode, and a Jellypod plan with distribution: Starter, Creator, Business, or Enterprise.

  1. In Jellypod, open your Podcast and click the Spotify badge below the podcast header. Copy the RSS feed URL from the dialog.
  2. Go to Spotify for Creators and sign in. If there is no place to submit an RSS feed, open the menu in the upper right and choose Add a new show.
  3. Choose Find an existing show and paste your RSS feed URL.
  4. Review the podcast details and submit, then confirm ownership from the verification email Jellypod forwards to you.
  5. Once Spotify approves the show, paste its Spotify link into the same Jellypod dialog and choose Save link.

Approval usually takes a few hours. After that, publishing an Episode in Jellypod is all it takes.

Spotify integration FAQ

Do I upload each Episode to Spotify?
No. Spotify reads your Podcast’s RSS feed, so every Episode you publish in Jellypod appears on Spotify without another upload.
Why does the Spotify verification email come from Jellypod?
Your feed lists a forwarding address for the Podcast. Jellypod forwards Spotify’s verification email to your account email, so Spotify never sees your real address.
Which plans can distribute a podcast?
Starter, Creator, Business, and Enterprise include podcast distribution. Free and Educator do not.
