Edit Narration and Visuals
Edit narration, regenerate audio, and change individual visuals in Magic Video, Shorts, and Voiceovers.
Magic Video, Shorts, and Voiceovers use the same Video editor. The editor keeps narration, generated audio, visuals, and timing connected while still letting you change each part deliberately.
Edit Narration
The narration editor contains the complete spoken script, divided into paragraphs that match the generated audio segments. Text changes save automatically, but they do not silently replace finished audio.
After changing a paragraph, use Regenerate Audio on that paragraph or regenerate every stale paragraph from the narration toolbar. You can also change the narrator Character, which marks the narration as stale until you regenerate it in the new Voice.
You cannot render, download, or update the shared version while narration is stale. This prevents a finished Video from combining new text with old audio.
Edit Visuals
The visual rail shows each shot in order. Select a visual to preview its moment in the Video, then choose Edit Visual to:
- Regenerate: Create a new visual for that moment. You can describe what should change or leave the direction blank for a fresh interpretation. The editor shows the credit cost before generation starts.
- Replace: Upload your own image or video. You can also drag supported media directly onto a visual card.
Regenerating or replacing one visual leaves its narration and timing unchanged. Rendering is unavailable while a visual is regenerating.
Voiceover creation preserves the documents and images you supplied. Regenerating or replacing one of those visuals later is an explicit edit that you choose in this editor.
Timing and Playback
Expand the timing panel to preview how narration and visuals line up. Jellypod automatically reflows visual timing when narration audio changes. This is not the track-based Timeline Editor for AI Podcasts, which supports dragging and trimming Episode audio segments.
Product Differences
- Magic Video and Shorts: Use AI-generated visuals in the Visual Style selected before creation. The style and orientation cannot be changed after generation begins.
- Voiceovers: Begin with creator-supplied visuals and always use landscape orientation. The creation flow has no Visual Style, Brand Kit, watermark, or background music choice; the shared editor lets you add background music or a watermark afterward.
- Shorts: May include an instrumental score that you can replace or remove.
- Magic Video and Shorts: May include a Brand Kit, watermark, and captions during creation. Voiceovers support captions and an editor-added watermark, but not a Brand Kit.
