Share an episode: link, social and re-render

Sharing is part of Publishing and Distribution. To share an episode, open its dropdown menu in the podcast's episode list and click Share, or click the share icon in the episode editor. The Share this episode dialog works for published, scheduled and draft episodes.

The Share Link field holds the episode's direct link, with a copy button. Below it are buttons for LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Email, Reddit and WhatsApp, a QR code button for this episode (for a podcast-level QR code, see your podcast website), and a device share button that copies the link if the browser has no native share sheet.

• Published or scheduled episodes: the link is enabled right away, including episodes published audio-first that never render video. Once published, it points at the published version.
• Draft episodes: the link is disabled until the draft has a render. Sharing a draft does not add it to your RSS feed, so it works as a private preview before you publish.

The embed code at the bottom of the dialog appears only once the episode is published, not while it is scheduled. See Embedding your podcast for using it, and Analytics for plays.

Render a draft for sharing

Drafts get a render button in the Share dialog in the episode editor. Create render appears when there is no render yet, and the link enables when it finishes. Re-render latest version appears once a render exists: click it after editing to update the shared link. Both are hidden once the episode is published or scheduled, and a live episode's link always plays the version you published.

Rendering is free: credits were charged when the narration and visuals were generated (see Understanding credits). If the saved narration no longer matches the script, voice, or pronunciations, an audio choice dialog opens first: see Choose which audio to render.

Private podcasts

If the podcast's visibility is Private, the dialog has no link and says the episode can only be accessed within your team's workspace. Use Invite team members, or Make podcast visibility public to unlock the link, social buttons and embed code. See podcast visibility.
