Delete your account (team): steps and what is deleted
Permanently delete your Jellypod account: it deletes the whole team, all content and cancels the subscription. Admin steps, member options and what to export first.
Deleting your account deletes the whole team (organization), not just you. It cannot be undone. For other account topics, see Account and Billing. To stop paying but keep your content, cancel your subscription instead.
Before you delete
- Download your episodes, audio, video and transcripts: see Downloading video and audio.
- Export your credit usage from Settings > Usage & Billing: see Viewing invoices.
- A new free trial is not guaranteed after deleting: see trial eligibility.
Deleting your team and what gets deleted
Only the Admin role can delete the team (see Roles and permissions).
- Go to Settings > General. The red Delete Account alert appears for admins only.
- Click Go to Team Settings, which opens Settings > Team.
- In the Delete Team alert, click Delete Team.
- Type
DELETEto confirm, then click Delete Account.
Deleting the team removes:
- Every user in the organization, and all their active sessions on every device.
- All podcasts, episodes, characters, sources and media, along with your credits and credit history.
- Your subscription, which is cancelled immediately with no refund for any unused portion.
- Your RSS feed. Jellypod stops serving it, so directories such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts will eventually drop the listing.
You are signed out and sent to the Jellypod website. If a step fails partway, you are told to sign in and try again, and the deletion resumes.
Members
Members cannot delete the organization. Ask an Admin to remove you with Remove from team in the members list at Settings > Team. Your teammates and content stay. For sessions and other security settings, see Profile and security.
