Free Educator plan: who qualifies and how to get it
Jellypod's free Educator plan gives verified educators six months and 3,000 monthly credits. Who qualifies, which email domains are accepted and what happens next.
Teachers and faculty get six free months of the Educator plan, with 3,000 credits each month. This page covers eligibility and how the plan is granted. For other plans, see Account and Billing.
How to get it
Pick Educator / Faculty as your role during sign-up. With an eligible school email, click Activate free education plan and the plan starts immediately, with no credit card. The plan is not offered on the pricing page or in subscription settings, and it is a one-time offer per organization.

If you do not qualify, sign-up continues to the standard paywall, which offers the 7-day free trial if you are trial-eligible (see free trial).
What screening does
Institutional domains that are not obviously academic are screened automatically:
- Declined immediately: a clear business, a for-profit company that sells education (test prep, tutoring, bootcamps, ed-tech vendors), or a public body that is not a school (a health authority or hospital, a council, a ministry or agency, police, a public library or museum). No manual review follows.
- Held for review: a domain that cannot be identified either way. You continue to the paywall and can start a subscription right away. Once support confirms your school, your organization is switched to the Educator plan.

What is included
Educator has the Starter plan's limits but with 3,000 monthly credits instead of 5,000. Credit top-ups are available. How credits work.
Educator does not include:
- Distribution to Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube, which is available on Starter, Creator, Business and Enterprise.
- API access and API keys.
- Custom watermarks and logos.
- Removal of Jellypod branding.
- Custom domains.
When the six months end
The plan expires six months after activation. To keep creating and publishing, the organization then needs a subscription: see managing your subscription. Organizations that activated under the earlier term keep the expiry date they were given.
