Free exploration
Sign up and explore Studio for free without a payment method. Choose Skip and continue during onboarding to explore before choosing a plan. You can browse voices and characters, upload, process and manage Sources, prepare drafts, explore creation settings, and view and play existing content.
Generating or saving new content, editing existing content, publishing, and exporting require an eligible 7-day trial or a plan that includes those features. Free exploration does not include generation credits. Account and billing tasks, including Update Subscription, stay available.
Free exploration also remains available after a subscription ends through cancellation or a payment failure.

Choosing a Short, Video or Voiceover length above your plan's cap opens an upgrade dialog instead of selecting it. Duration presets and defaults are covered in Video Creation Settings.
How long can my episodes and voiceovers be?
Podcast episodes can run up to 60 minutes on Starter, Creator, and Business. Enterprise has no plan cap on episode length. No episode can exceed 75 minutes on any plan.
Voiceover length is capped at 20 minutes on Starter, 30 on Creator, and 60 on Business. Enterprise has no plan cap. See Voiceovers for durations and the Auto option.
Shorts and Videos use their own cap, separate from episode length. Podcast episodes do not use it.
How many characters can I create?
Starter organizations can keep up to 10 AI characters. Creator, Business, and Enterprise have no plan cap.
The limit only blocks creating new characters. Characters you already have stay usable if a downgrade leaves you over the cap. See Characters and Voices.
How many brand kits can I create?
Starter has 1 brand kit, and Creator, Business, and Enterprise have no plan cap. Creating another kit at your limit opens an upgrade dialog.
Free trial
New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial when you are eligible. You need a payment method to start the trial, and the trial converts to the plan you selected after 7 days unless you cancel. To cancel during a trial, see Canceling Your Subscription.
Trials are capped at 5 episodes and 10 Shorts, Videos and Voiceovers combined across your organization, separate from your trial credits. If you reach either cap, Jellypod opens a subscription dialog with your selected plan so you can subscribe and keep creating. The caps lift once you subscribe.
Selecting any plan during a trial ends it and charges the card on file. To convert early, use Update Subscription on the billing card.
Do unused trial credits carry over when I subscribe?
Yes. You keep your unused trial credits, and your paid plan's monthly credits are added on top of the remaining trial balance. Trial credits keep their original expiry date, one month after your originally scheduled trial end date, even if you subscribe early.
Why was I not offered a free trial?
Common reasons:
- You selected the Student role during sign-up. Students pay up front.
- Your email address already started a trial in the last 90 days. Eligibility follows the address, not the organization, so deleting your account and signing up again does not give a second trial. Plus-aliases (such as
name+test@example.com) and dotted variants on Gmail addresses count as the same address. - Your organization has had a subscription before.
- Trials may not be available in every country or region, or with every email address (disposable addresses do not qualify).
