Podcast Networks: group podcasts under one brand

Create a Podcast Network, choose its podcasts, and customize its included website. Creator includes one network; Business includes five networks.

A Podcast Network groups your organization's podcasts under a shared brand and website. Each podcast keeps its own episodes, website, RSS feed, Author and distribution links. Networks are part of Publishing and Distribution.

Creator includes one network per organization. Business includes five networks, and Enterprise follows your agreement. Every network gets a Jellypod address such as your-network.jellypod.com.

Create a network

  1. Open Podcasts in Studio.
  2. Click New Network beside New Podcast.
  3. Enter a network name, an available Jellypod subdomain and, optionally, the podcasts to include, then create the network.

Your networks appear in the Networks section of the Podcasts page.

Choose podcasts

Open the network, click Podcasts, and search for or select the podcasts you want in it. Changes save automatically. A podcast belongs to one network at a time, so selecting a podcast that is in another network moves it. Deselecting a podcast removes it from the network without changing its episodes, website or RSS feed.

Private and unlisted podcasts can be members, but only public podcasts appear on the network website.

Customize the website

On the network page, change the name, logo, description and Brand Kit. Changes save automatically and the preview beside the settings updates as you go; View website opens the live site. Without a chosen Brand Kit, the network uses your organization's default. The website is live at its Jellypod address as soon as the network exists. To change that address, click Edit beside Domain and choose an available subdomain; the old address stops working right away.

The website shows your podcasts' covers, a directory of all public member podcasts, and their latest published episodes. Podcast and episode links open each podcast's existing pages.

Delete a network

Deleting a network removes its website and releases its podcasts. Podcasts, episodes and their websites stay unchanged.
